Terms of Use for LookAI

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement made between you ("User", "you", or "your") and LookAI ("we", "us", or "our"), concerning your access to and use of the LookAI mobile application (the "App"). By downloading, installing, registering for, or using the App, you agree that you have read, understood, and are bound by all of these Terms. If you do not agree with all of these Terms, you are expressly prohibited from using the App and must discontinue use immediately.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum legal age in your jurisdiction) to use the App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are a minor, you must have the permission of, and be directly supervised by, your parent or guardian to use the App.

3. User Accounts and Security

To access the core features of LookAI (such as the digital wardrobe, AI stylist, and community feed), you must register for an account.

• Accuracy: You agree to provide true, accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process.
• Authentication: LookAI utilizes passwordless authentication methods (e.g., Email OTP, Google SSO). You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your email account and any associated authentication tokens.
• Account Activity: You are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use or suspected security breach.

4. End-User License Agreement (EULA)

LookAI grants you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to download, install, and use the App strictly in accordance with these Terms for your personal, non-commercial purposes.

You agree not to:

• Decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, attempt to derive the source code of, or decrypt the App.
• Make any modification, adaptation, improvement, enhancement, translation, or derivative work from the App.
• Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notice (including copyright or trademark notices) posted by us.
• Use the App for any revenue-generating endeavor, commercial enterprise, or other purpose for which it is not designed.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

Unless otherwise indicated, the App is our proprietary property. All source code, databases, functionality, software, website designs, audio, video, text, photographs, graphics (excluding User Content), and the trademarks, service marks, and logos contained therein are owned or controlled by us and are protected by copyright, trademark, and various other intellectual property laws.

6. User Content

"User Content" refers to any clothing images, profile photos, comments, text, or other materials you upload, post, or transmit through the App.

• Ownership: You retain all ownership rights to your User Content.
• License to LookAI: By uploading User Content, you grant LookAI a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, and sublicensable license to use, host, store, reproduce, modify, create derivative works (e.g., AI background removal), communicate, publish, and publicly display such content strictly for the purpose of operating, improving, and providing the LookAI services.
• Community Feed: If you choose to post User Content to the public community feed, you grant other LookAI users the right to view, react to, and interact with that content.

7. Acceptable Use and Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to use the App to:

• Upload or share User Content that is illegal, abusive, harassing, defamatory, fraudulent, sexually explicit, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.
• Infringe upon the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of third parties.
• Transmit viruses, malware, or any other malicious code.
• Attempt to bypass any rate-limiting, security measures, or edge function controls implemented by LookAI.
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the App.

We reserve the right, but not the obligation, to monitor User Content and remove any content or suspend any account that violates these Terms.

8. Premium Services, Subscriptions, and Billing

LookAI offers premium features (e.g., extended wardrobe limits, unlimited AI outfit generations) through auto-renewing subscriptions and in-app purchases ("Premium Services").

• Payment Processing: All payments are processed through your respective app store provider (Apple App Store or Google Play Store) and managed via RevenueCat. LookAI does not directly collect or store your credit card information.
• Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
• Cancellation: You may manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your device's Account Settings after purchase. Deleting the LookAI App or deleting your LookAI account does NOT automatically cancel your subscription.
• Refunds: Except when required by law, paid Subscription fees are non-refundable. All refund requests must be handled through the respective app store provider.

9. AI and Weather Data Disclaimer

LookAI utilizes artificial intelligence (including models provided by Google Gemini and fal.ai) to analyze clothing, suggest outfits, and provide fashion advice. Furthermore, LookAI utilizes Open-Meteo for local weather data.

• No Guarantee of Accuracy: AI-generated advice and weather forecasts are provided for entertainment and informational purposes only. LookAI does not guarantee that outfit recommendations will be accurate, appropriate for all real-world conditions, or perfectly aligned with your personal preferences.
• "As Is" Basis: The App is provided on an "AS-IS" and "AS-AVAILABLE" basis. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event will LookAI, our directors, employees, or agents be liable to you or any third party for any direct, indirect, consequential, exemplary, incidental, special, or punitive damages, including lost profit, lost revenue, loss of data, or other damages arising from your use of the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless, including our subsidiaries, affiliates, and all of our respective officers, agents, partners, and employees, from and against any loss, damage, liability, claim, or demand, including reasonable attorneys’ fees and expenses, made by any third party due to or arising out of: (1) your User Content; (2) use of the App; (3) breach of these Terms; or (4) your violation of the rights of a third party.

12. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which LookAI is headquartered, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding related to the App shall be brought exclusively in a court of competent jurisdiction located in that same jurisdiction. You hereby consent to, and waive all defenses of lack of personal jurisdiction and forum non conveniens with respect to, venue and jurisdiction in such state and federal courts.

13. Modifications to the App and Terms

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue all or part of the App at any time without notice. We may also revise these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes via the App. Your continued use of the App following the posting of revised Terms means that you accept and agree to the changes.
